Abstract

A rotasonic drilling program in the northern Abitibi Greenstone Belt revealed the presence of several glacial sequences and a non-glacial unit assigned to the Sangamonian interglacial. The main objective of this drilling campaign is to target areas of interest for mineral exploration using geochemical analysis of tills combined with a thorough stratigraphic study.
