Abstract
Pebbles from various drift sheets and moraines were collected during summers of 1984 and 1985. Purpose of investigation was to discern patterns and limits of ice flow in valleys of peninsula that could have acted as distributary outlets for regional fjord ice but may have also served as outlets for local valley glaciers during or before last glaciation. Two hypotheses are presented to explain character of glacial features and sediments in lower valleys; neither conforms to recently proposed Late Wisconsinan ice model for northern Labrador that requires extensive regional ice coverage in outer fjord and on Labrador Shelf.
