Abstract
Detailed geophysical studies have been carried out since 1984 to investigate stratigraphy, which is necessary for understanding of hydrological and thermal regimes of basin. Thermistor cables and piezometers were installed at three sites in order to obtain parameters required. Geophysical results were calibrated with drill-hole information. Results of ground-probing radar profile were correlated with those of electrical soundings. This integrated approach facilitates interpretation of geophysical soundings on non-calibrated sites and allows better understanding of stratigraphic sequences in marine sediments
