Abstract
To reconstruct the evolution of environments in northern and southern Hudson Bay, core samples representing postglacial sediment sequences were studied for their microfaunal and palynological content. A strong latitudinal gradient in productivity and water mass characteristics was revealed throughout the postglacial interval, interglacial conditions occurred much later in northern Hudson Bay.
