Abstract
Presents results based on field work from 1977 to 1988 with aim of (1) deciphering glacial history of fringe of land between Smith Sound and Prince of Wales Icefield; (2) investigating bottom sediments in selected lakes and pools in this area in order to obtain chronological information on environmental change; and (3) constructing emergence curve. Parallel tests were carried out along part of coast of Inglefield Land, Greenland, closest to Ellesmere Island
