Abstract

We welcome the comments of Dr. C. Rodrigues on our paper on the geochemistry of aragonite molluscs from a sequence of Champlain Sea sediments exposed at Navan and Bearbrook, Ontario. However, we are committed to the veracity of our geochemical data and results, which do not need to be re-interpreted as suggested by Rodrigues. Thus, another presentation and discussion is deemed superfluous, instead the reader is referred back to our original paper on the subject matter, and we thank Dr. Rodrigues for his comments and opinion on the topic of Champlain Sea geochemistry.
