Abstract
Systematic mapping of surficial deposits in the lower reaches of the Kennarctic River, N.W.T. was carried out during the summer of 1982. As a result it has been possible to ascertain that, for the southeast part of Coronation Gulf, ice retreat occurred in four phases prior to 10,000 B.P., and that the postglacial sea covered land below 200 m a.s.l.
