Abstract
The Quaternary mapping project “Montérégie Est” is part of a vast program to acquire knowledge on groundwater resources (Québec Underground Water Monitoring Network). It covers the Conférence Régionale des Élus Montérégie Est (CRÉ) and the area defined by the adjacent watersheds of rivers Yamaska, Richelieu and the Missisquoi Bay with a total surface of 9218 km2. The acquisition of new geological data in the summer of 2010, and its integration with existing information, has allowed to consolidate and reissue several compilation maps: 31I02, 31I03, 31H10, 31H11, 31H14, 31H15. The entire mapping should be completed during summer 2011.
