This article discusses several different models used to explain the widespread glaciation during the Late Wisconsin. The models given special attention here are: the single dome model of Laurentide Ice Sheet, Multi-dome model over the central part of the Laurentide Ice Sheet, and the five-dome model of the Laurentide Ice Sheet proposed by the authors
