Abstract
Many varied geological characteristics of the seabed and shallow subsurface of the Hibernia area of the Grand Banks of Newfoundland are presented in map format. This Quaternary geology map is the first in a series of similar Canadian offshore geological maps. The map-area is centered around the Hibernia oil field which extends across the northeast area of Grand Bank, Grand Banks of Newfoundland, approximately 325 km east of St. John's, Newfoundland.
