Abstract

Andrei Galcier is located in the Boundary Range of the Coast Mountains in B.C. This report gives the results of measurements taken at 9 sites on ice surfaces which were contaminated to varying degrees by aeolian dirt, classified as white, whitish, dirty and very dirty. Albedo values were tabulated and plotted along a grid of 500m mesh. Suggestions are also given on how to model hourly ice surface albedo distribution over the glacier.
