Abstract
Prince Edward Island is a crescent-shaped island located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, and is also a province of Canada. Kildare is situated on the Gulf between Alberton and Tignish, at 46 degree 55'N and 63 degree 55'W. This short article has two objectives: to pinpoint the conditions affecting Prince Edward Island's coastal erosion, and to calculate as precisely as possible the speed at which the ocean is eroding the island's shoreline.
