Abstract
Nine types of crawling traces and one resting trace, attributed to isopods, water beetles and their larvae, crustaceans, and nematodes, were found along the partings of silty laminae in varved glaciolacustrine clayey silts of Late Wisconsinan age at Iona, St. Mary's, and Union, southwestern Ontario. They lived in proglacial lakes, at distances of about 1-100 km from the glacial margin.
