Abstract

Relationship between isotopes in ice in peat plateaus along Robert Campbell Highway, southern Yukon Territory, is almost identical with that found in ice in overlying active layer in spring. Both are appreciably different from relationship for water in sediments of adjacent fens. Thus, bulk of ice in peat plateaus must be meteoric in origin
